To clean your waxed cotton jacket of mold, you will need to use a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and cold water. You will need a spray bottle and a soft bristle brush. Spray the jacket and use the bristle brush to lightly brush the jacket.

After you have cleaned the jacket, rinse thoroughly with cold water.       

Let the jacket air dry in a well circulated area until fully dry.

For the inside, you can also repeat the same process as the outside of your jacket.

If your jacket is completely covered in mold, you will need to spray the jacket inside and out with the vinegar spray and gently clean the jacket with the soft bristle brush to remove any visible mold.  Let the  jacket sit in the vinegar solution for about 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with cold water. 

Hang to dry in a well circulated area until fully dry.

You may have to repeat the process.
